Enter the Professional Contest Enter the High School Contest

The Media Network Idaho competition is open to both members and non-members. Entry fees are discounted for members. If an entry wins first place honors in the Idaho competition, the entrant must join Media Network Idaho and National Federation of Press Women by March 15, 2024 to be eligible for the entry to advance to the national competition. 

Students participating in the high school contest do not need to join Media Network Idaho or NFPW. Media Network Idaho awards a $25 cash prize to the first place student winners in all 23 high school contest categories. The first place entries are then entered into the national contest. First place winning entries in the national contest win $100.

As you begin submiting your entries, please carefully review the category requirements to make sure the entry is complete before submitting.

For Idaho submissions, the following fee structure applies per entry:

Member	$25.00	$25.00 (Per each entry)
Non-Member	$30.00	$30.00 (Per each entry)
Student	$10.00	$10.00 (Per each entry)

* A one-time, $25 late entry fee is assessed to all professional contest entrants after the NOON January 17, 2024 deadline. 

For the high school competition, the following fee structure applies per entry:
